Free IT conference [return]
NHS Connecting for Health holds conference for allied health professionals

NHS Connecting for Health is holding its second annual free conference for allied health professionals, healthcare scientists, pharmacists and psychologists.

Connecting for Health is a Directorate of the Department for Health. Its responsibility is to deliver the National Programme for Information Technology. The aim is to harness technology to improve patient care, in particular through enabling better communication between different parts of the health service.

Interactive workshops will include telehealth and mobile working, and the focus will be on how IT "can and does support innovation in practice".

At the time of writing, 23 of the 220 free places were still available. The conference is on 2nd December at the NEC, Birmingham.
