Speech & Language Therapy in Practice now has an editor's blog
If you are looking to keep up-to-date between issues of Speech & Language Therapy & Practice, have a look at the editor's new blog.
Editor Avril Nicoll says, "Over the past few years I've looked at various forms of social networking to enable readers to access practical information between issues of the magazine. I am conscious that practising therapists are very short of time, and finally with a blog I feel I can give the readers more of what they are looking for without making demands on them.
"Entries on the blog are like the magazine - they represent different threads of the profession but have common themes such as practicality and usefulness."
Avril is hoping readers will sign up to follow the blog and will share it widely with colleagues. The magazine also now has a Facebook page; rather than applying to be 'friends' as happens with personal profiles, readers have the opportunity to sign up as 'fans'.
