Independence Through Communication CD available at pre-publication pilot price
Would you like to participate in the pilot of Langlearn's Independence Through Communication Programme?
The programme is primarily designed for people using an inclusive communication strategy and working at Entry Levels 1-3 (Adult Literacy Core Curriculum). Developers Langlearn have a limited number of copies of the programme available on CD at a pre-publication cost of £35 to cover preparation and postage. These are available to therapists and teachers who wish to use, review and provide feedback.
The programme is divided into modules of core activities and extension tasks to follow at the group's own pace. The modules are introducing communication and establishing group rules; meeting people; body language; listening skills; asking and answering questions; staying on topic and paying attention; interruption and turn taking; rules of conversation.
