Meningitis Trust to hold 'After care and after-effects' conference on 4 March 2009
The Meningitis Trust is hosting a free conference on after care and after effects.
The event on 4 March 2009 will look at both the wide range of outcomes for people who have meningitis and meningococcal septicaemia and how specialist support can help those affected rebuild their lives. Speakers will include representatives from Auditory Verbal UK, a charity which promotes the Auditory Verbal approach to helping hearing impaired children acquire listening and spoken language skills. There are 4 Certified Auditory Verbal Therapists in the UK.
