Summer 08 mailing [return]
The Summer 08 issue will be mailed out on Thursday.

The Summer 08 issue of Speech & Language Therapy in Practice is being printed. The mailing house is planning to send it out to UK and overseas subscribers on Thursday. It should therefore arrive with UK subscribers by Monday 9th June.
As always, it's a packed and very practical and wide-ranging issue. Topics include food refusal in adolescents with complex needs, a Signalong strategy in a special needs school, and the impact of workshops at the Globe Theatre on teaching and learning at a special school. Our cover story looks at embedding inclusive communication in a respite unit and a new series on user involvement begins with a children's centres project. Mythical creatures are used to investigate optimal learning approaches in aphasia and the baby signing debate continues. My Top Resources come from the award-winning City Lit speech therapy centre for adults who stammer and, in addition to old favourites such as Winning Ways and reviews, our series on supervision continues with a look at models and barriers.
