Speech and language therapist to speak at conference on how technology can enable people with long-term conditions

Speech and language therapy researcher Rebecca Palmer is delivering a keynote presentation at a conference to explore how technology can enable people with long-term conditions.
The conference will cover telecare, electronic and computer-based technologies that can make a difference to the delivery of health and social care services in the UK. Additional 'showcase' presentations will include people with dementia, brain injury, Parkinson's Disease and Motor Neurone Disease.
The conference is in London on 16th September 2008. It is organised by the Community Therapists Network in association with The British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine, The Telecare Services Association and The Primary Care Neurology Society.
