The 'Off We Go!' series featured on our Autumn 07 cover makes Irish TV news
Our Autumn 07 cover story tells how Avril Webster created a series of books to enable her son Stephen to deal with everyday situations. Avril has been in touch to say the Off We Go! series has now made the national Irish television news.
Stephen is 9 but has intellectual disabilities that can make ordinary experiences overwhelming. The six books -about going to the hairdresser, the supermarket, a restaurant, the doctor, the dentist and the swimming pool - are published by Speechmark.
