Impact of Reflux - Bringing Professions Together [return]
London conference with leading experts

Experts in voice, persistent cough, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and dysphagia will be presenting at a study day on the impact of reflux.

The event is at the Institute of Electrical Engineering in London on Thursday 4th November 2010. Two speech and language therapists are among the presenters: Jemma Haines is a specialist in chronic cough, while Jane Shaw is a specialist in reflux and ENT. The other contributors are Dilys Lai, consultant in respiratory disease, Christine Falzon, physiotherapists and COPD specialist and Mark Watson, ENT consultant.

Attendance at £25 is heavily subsidised by the company Reckitt Benckiser. It makes Gaviscon Advance Aniseed Suspension, a drug which is licensed for use in the management of the symptoms of laryngopharyngeal reflux.
