Enquire conference 2010 on involving parents and the wider community in the education of children with additional support needs
Enquire, a Scotland-wide advice and information service for additional support for learning, is holding a national conference on 'Families as Learning Partners'.
The event is on 9th March 2010 in Hamilton. The standard delegate rate is £165, but there are discounts for individuals or small and member organisations.
The conference will ask how parents are being involved in decision making and learning for children with support needs and in particular how can we get parents involved when they have their own support needs. Breakout sessions include a focus on Looked After Children, Kinship Carers, Parents with Disabilities, Transitions and Scotland's Travelling Communities.
